Last night Merkel had their ahtletic banquet which was very fun. Chelsea lettered in Varsity Cheerleading and I lettered in Varsity basketball.
Even though it lasted 3 hours long it was still fun being there with all of our friends.

You never know why bad things happen in life. You just know that they all happen for a reason and that God has a plan. Please pray for Sierra and our family! We are going through a really tough time but are trying to look at the good things that could come from this. We all know that we will clearly understand in the future why this is happening but in the meantime we just have to trust God and know that this will all make since someday. Please pray for us!

Swine Flu in Merkel Tx.

Aww...You can't beat a second spring break in Austin, Tx.!! I am having such a great time out of school thanks to the swine flu. Of course I know it isn't so much fun for the ones who actually have the swine flu that enable us to be in Austin ,but out of the whole world the swine flu hit mainly in Merkel, Tx...... I mean really?? Little 'ole Merkel?? Population about 2,500. If it's gonna happen though it's gonna happen in Merkel. :)
